About UICC

Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) is the biggest membership organization in the world whose goal is to lower the number of people who get cancer and make sure that everyone has access to fair cancer care. The UICC has its headquarters in Geneva and has more than 1,100 member organizations in 170 countries and territories. These include cancer societies, research institutes, treatment centers, government offices, and patient support groups.

Main Responsibilities:

Programme Coordination:

  • Plan talks and set dates for session design across all teams.

Event Logistics and Delivery:

  • Oversee event materials, delegate kits, and on-site support planning.

Registration & Participant Experience:

  • Set up and take care of registration processes, which includes testing and fixing problems.

  • Help event participants before, during, and after the event.
  • Look at registration trends to get people more involved and suggest changes for each group.
  • Keep operational excellence and participant happiness at a high level.

Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting:

  • Create and use models for collecting feedback, evaluating sessions, and keeping track of outcomes.
  • Track how engaged people are, how well they work together, and how much of an effect people think the event had after it’s over.
  • Work with the head of Congress and Events to make effect briefs and summary reports for different groups of people.
  • Help keep track of engagement and effect over time.

Cross-Event Support:

  • Help plan and run UICC events like CPF, WCLS, WCC, and others, either in person or online.
  • Help find a space, make a logistics map, handle registration, organize tech runs, clean up after the event, and plan meetings with internal teams and external partners.
